There's one name that stands above the others in Fast-Dry courts and that's LEE.
The LEE Fast-Dry surfacing is the most popular clay like surface
in the United States and is a standard in the clay court industry.
LEE Fast-Dry is made from a billion year old Pre-Cambrian metabasalt found in the
Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. This rock is crushed, screened, and mixed in the precise
proportions necessary to produce a stable surface.
LEE Fast-Dry can be used for both new court construction or for top
dressing. A layer of these finely crushed green rock particles is installed over a
pourous base of crushed stone aggregate to produce a finished surface. A Fast-Dry court can
also be built over existing clay, asphalt, or concrete courts. Many clubs have already converted
their hard courts to LEE Fast-Dry to satisfy player demand.
Today there are more than 40,000 Fast-Dry Courts surfaced over 23 countries around the world.
LEE Fast-Dry is the perfect surface for life-long tennis. It is responsive and consistent, yet
forgiving. LEE Fast-Dry's natural shock-absorbing qualities delay fatigue, reduce your risk of
injury, and encourage more rallies per point.
